Bridget — Media Audit Registry
Every card. Every copy. Every checksum. Accounted for.
Bridget is the tamper-evident media audit layer for film and video productions. It doesn't copy your footage — it proves where every byte went, who offloaded it, and whether it verified. Built for producers, post houses, DITs, and insurers who need a defensible chain of custody from card check-out to archive.
What Bridget does
Media Card Registry
Track every physical card through its full lifecycle — Checked Out → Offloading → Verified → Backed Up → Wiped → Archived. Label cards by camera (A_Cam_001, B_Cam_014), log the operator, scene coverage, media type, and capacity. Never lose sight of a card on a busy shoot day.
Offload Job Tracking
Log every offload as a job with its copy destinations (primary, safety, archive), checksum algorithm (xxHash64, MD5, SHA256), byte counts, file counts, and verified-file counts. Watch progress move from queued → in progress → verified. Flag partial or failed copies before they become a problem in post.
Verified Manifests
Generate audit-grade file manifests — the definitive record of what was on a card. Every file gets a path, size, checksum, and verification status. The whole manifest is sealed with a manifest hash for tamper-evidence. This is the document an insurer or post house asks for when something goes wrong.
Ingest from your existing DIT tools
Bridget sits beside Hedge, Silverstack, and ShotPut Pro — it doesn't replace them. Import their MHL (Media Hash List) files or CSV exports directly. Bridget parses the manifest, registers the card, logs the offload job, and stores the verified file list — no double-entry, no format drift. Your DIT keeps their workflow; you get the audit layer.
Producer-Facing Reports
Generate daily offload, weekly summary, and wrap reports as audit-grade PDFs — ready for producers, post houses, insurers, and completion guarantors. Denormalized summary stats (total cards, files, bytes, verified vs. failed) so a producer can read the health of media in seconds.
Compliance & Integrity
A chronological compliance log rolls up manifest verifications, report generations, and offload statuses into one timeline. An integrity score surfaces the percentage of verified files across the project at a glance. Know immediately if a card failed verification, a manifest is missing, or an offload stalled.
Clarice Sync
Verified manifests sync straight into your Clarice project as audited asset records — closing the loop between set and production. Producers see what was shot, verified, and archived without leaving Clarice.
The value, in plain terms
Insurance-ready proof of custody — when a card fails or footage is disputed, you have a timestamped, checksum-verified record that holds up.
Cross-project media intelligence — search and report across every card on every project your company has shot.
Zero disruption to your DIT — they keep Hedge or Silverstack; you get the registry on top.
A rounding error on a shoot day — $99/year vs. one failed insurance claim.
Included with Clarice Studio
Clarice Studio subscribers get Bridget Pro included at no extra cost — unlimited projects, verified manifests, audit-grade PDF reports, Clarice sync, and the full compliance ledger. Studio is the only Clarice tier that bundles Bridget; on Freelancer and Production Company, Bridget Pro is a standalone add-on ($14/mo or $99/yr).
For a Studio operation, that means your entire production company — every producer, every project — ships with a defensible media audit trail baked in. No separate procurement, no second vendor, no gap between what was shot and what's on record. It's one of the reasons Studio is the tier built for companies that can't afford a media-handling dispute.
